Karen Muccioli

Owner & Director (Tap, Modern, Jazz, Ballet)

Karen received her Bachelors Degree in Dance Performance, Choreography and Education from Towson University in 1981 where she also received her teacher’s certification K-12.  This year marks her 34th year of teaching and choreographing ballet, jazz, modern, hip hop, musical theatre, lyrical, contemporary and tap. In 2005 Karen founded Craze – A New Dance Experience, a Hip Hop and Contemporary Dance Workshop featuring such big name faculty as Will Wingfield, Legacy Perez, Nina McNeely, Mari Koda, Terence Dickson, Ebony Williams, Rudi Goblen, Reina Hidalgo, Morgan Larson, Lance Guillermo, Danielle Sten and Teresa "Toogie" Barcelo. Her choreography has won top awards at both the regional and national level at various competitions throughout the country. She has choreographed for National Television’s “Star Search”, Nordstrom’s Block Party with MTV’s Downtown Julie Brown and has been featured in WJZ’s Evening Magazine. Her students have won academic and summer study scholarships at Broadway Dance Center, Gus Giordano Dance Chicago, The Joffrey Ballet School, Point Park University and the Juilliard School. Some of Karen’s graduates have gone on to professional careers with artists such as Madonna and Celine Dion, danced on Broadway in “Lion King” and “The Color Purple”, and The Radio City Rockettes. Karen has also choreographed regional productions of “The King and I”, “Anything Goes”, “The Wiz” and “The Pajama Game” just to name a few. She has also acted as a Judge for Regional Competitions with Hall of Fame Dance Challenge in Chicago and Inferno Dance Competition in Virginia. This year marks the 10th year anniversary of The Rage Box Contemporary Dance Center.


Nanette Arciaga

Teacher (Modern, Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary Partnering)

Nanette Arciaga  has danced, performed and taught in the Baltimore area for over 30 years. She has studied with Maryland Ballet, Towson School of Ballet, Edward Villella, Laban Bartinieff Fundamentals with Peter Madden, Robin Williams, Towson University, Wally Saunders and Leslie Tinios to name a few.  Nanette has dance professionally with Baltimore based Naked Feet Dance Company, Ballet Concerto, Ethnikos Dance Company. Her teaching experience includes Essex and Dundalk Community College, Patapsco High School for the Performing Arts, Peabody Conservatory and Towson University Children’s Dance Division. Ms. Arciaga is currently teaching at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel and known as “Ms. Nan” at The Rage Box Contemporary Dance Center. She has also served as the Artistic Director for Harford Dance Theatre directing such shows as Harriet’s Happiest Halloween and The Nutcracker.


Samantha Cramer

Teacher (Boys Technique, Tap, Jazz, Musical Theatre)

Samantha Cramer has been performing professional since the age of 9 and has had the chance to perform all over the world. She has performed regionally for The Fulton Theater, Maine State Music Theater, Theater Of the Stars in Atlanta Ga, Prather Entertainment Group and sailed the high seas on Holland America Cruise Lines and Norwegian Cruise Line. Some Favorite roles include: Anybody’s in West Side Story, Jennyanydots in Cats,  Sarah Kines in Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Lorraine in 42nd Street, Rita and Rhoda in White Christmas, Ensemble in Jesus Christ Superstar and Young Frankenstein, along with many more. Recently Samantha has had the chance to cross over to the other side of the table and choreograph and assist with some phenomenal productions, such as Memphis the Musical, West Side Story, Crazy for You, A Chorus Line, a handful of children’s theater productions and high school productions as well. She has been teaching dance for 10 years and learning more and more each year about students and herself. When she is not teaching she is personal training or instructing fitness in Lancaster, Pa where she lives with her husband Adam and her sweet fur babies! She is so thankful to be a part of the Rage Box Family and to keep growing and learning with them year after year.  



Teacher (Ballet, Jazz, tap, HIp Hop, Combo)

Carley Scheeler began her dance training at age 3, and graduated from Rage Box Dance Center in 2017.  SHe is trained in a variety of styles, including ballet, contemporary, jazz, modern, tap, musical theatre, and hip-hop.  Carley takes pride in continuing her dance training, while simultaneously teaching multiple classes at Rage Box.  Carley is currently a full time college student, working towards getting her bachelor's degree in Psychology from Towson University.  After graduation, her ultimate goal is to move to Los Angeles, California, where she will hustle to become a working dancer.  She looks forward to teaching the students of Rage Box Dance Center, and she hopes she can become as big as an inspiration as her dance mentors are to her.

Lance Guillermo

Teacher (Director – Boxed Fresh Hip Hop Crew, Hip Hop, Boys Breaking)

Lance Guillermo—From the streets of Baltimore to the bright lights in Hollywood, Lance has performed and choreographed his way to being a well-respected and sought after hip-hop dancer and choreographer, striving to be a true original in his field. His multi-faceted career in dance spans music, film, and television. Lance’s television credits include being Assistant Choreographer to 2 time Emmy-Nominated choreographer, Christopher Scott for Disney Channel’s, “Shake It Up”, ABC’s “Good Morning America”, and “The View”. He performed with music icon Gloria Estefan on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno”, “The Rosie Show”, “Nuestra Navidad”, and “The View”. Lance performed in the 2008 Teen Choice Awards as a member of the ACDC (Adam {Sevani} {Jon} Chu Dance Crew) with Chris Brown, Adam Sevani (Moose), and the world famous “Jabbawockeez”. His music video credits include Gloria Estefan’s “Wepa” music video, and Ciara’s “Get Up” music video. Lance was a featured dancer in Touchstone Pictures film “Step Up” and assistant choreographer to Christopher Scott, and featured dancer in Disney Channel’s Original Movie “Lemonade Mouth”. He also had the pleasure of dancing for Lady Gaga at the Wonderland AIDS benefit in LA. Lance is currently on faculty for the WILD: Dance Convention, Turn it Up Dance Convention, A Day of Dance, PowerPak, and the Baltimore-based workshop, CRAZE: A New Dance Experience. In 2008, Lance and his wife Danielle Sten-Guillermo co-founded “On the DL”. With Danielle's boundary pushing contemporary work, and Lance's preservation of the original street styles of hip hop, On the DL creates movement and beauty collaborative of two different dance disciplines. When their multi-faceted styles are combined they create a raw dance experience.  During the summer of 2013, Danielle and Lance wrote, directed, and choreographed an original theater-dance production entitled, “Working America”.  Lance is also founder of the Kombined Stylez Crew which active members include, Christopher Scott, Jamile McGee, and Poly-Rok.  Lance is represented by Movement Talent Agency for Choreography and Education.


Debbie Hersey

Front Desk, Manager of "Out of the Box" Dance wear Store, and Teacher (Pre-dance, Mom and Me)

Debbie joined the Rage Box in 2006 with an extensive background in Early Childhood Education.  Known as “Miss Debbie” she holds an A.A. in Early Childhood Education from Harford Community College and a 90 hour teaching certificate for Childcare. Debbie has served both as a classroom teacher and a director of a childcare center. For over 22 years Debbie has managed a pre-school program, teaching both Pre-dance classes and Mom and Me with great expertise. Ms. Debbie also manages our In-studio Dancewear Store “Out of the Box” dancewear.  Debbie brings much love and compassion to all her students therefore many call her “Mom”.


Kathryn Jacques

Teacher (YAGP Liason, Ballet, Pointe, Ballet Track)

Kathryn began her training at Towson University's Children's Dance. She later attended the university on scholarship and graduated with Honors with a BFA in Dance Performance. Kathryn spent summers at Baltimore Ballet and Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet and has performed with the Baltimore Ballet, Harford Ballet Company, Eclipse Performing Dance Company and with independent choreographers. She has been accepted into programs for Richmond Ballet, Ballet Austin, Ballet Theater of Maryland, and Nashville Ballet and received Honorable Mention as a Maryland Distinguished Scholar of the Arts.  For the past seven years she has taught all levels of ballet and pointe throughout northern Maryland.  Her students have been accepted into programs for Boston Ballet, Nashville Ballet, Joffery Ballet, Miami City Ballet and the Carver Center for Arts and Technologies and have also competed at Youth America Grand Prix.

Danielle Sten-Guillermo

Teacher (Performance Director, Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Lyrical, Ballet Track)

Danielle Sten-Guillermo develops inspiring contemporary compositions that are sought after by other innovators, contemporary companies and educational institutions. She strives to be an innovator of new ideas, styles and techniques - pushing the boundaries of movement and beauty - rather than a follower of the present day trends. Her work has been performed on the stage at the Joyce Theater in New York City, and in the scenes of Disney Channel movies, representing her versatility in the industry. Danielle has been blessed to work along side 2 time Emmy-nominated choreographer, Christopher Scott in film, music and television. She was his Assistant Choreographer and Dancer in the Disney Channel Original Movie, "Teen Beach Movie" and its sequel, "Teen Beach 2", as well as in "Lemonade Mouth". Her television credits as Assistant Choreographer include SYTYCD Season 8 Finale Show, ABC's "Good Morning America" and "The View", and as a dancer for music icon, Gloria Estefan, on "The Rosie Show", "Nuestra Navidad", and "The View". Danielle was also a dancer in Gloria Estefan's "Wepa" music video. Early in her career, Danielle had the privilege of dancing for Paula Abdul.

In 2008, Danielle and her husband, Lance Guillermo, created "On the DL". They are a fusion of unique contemporary movement with the fundamentals of hip hop technique - a duet that challenges the misconceptions of a true blend of contemporary movement with authentic hip hop dance. Together they are resident faculty members for PowerPak, Turn It Up Dance Convention, A Day of Dance, and for the Baltimore-based workshop CRAZE: A New Dance Experience, as well as travel across the country and overseas to teach master classes, and choreograph unique compositions. During the summer of 2013, Danielle and Lance wrote, directed, and choreographed an original theater-dance production entitled, “Working America”.  Their work has also been performed in shows in Los Angeles, California, Las Vegas, Nevada, New York City, Orlando, Florida and other parts of the country. Danielle is represented by Movement Talent Agency for Choreography and Education.

Rebecca Hudson

Teacher (Hip Hop, Jazz, Combo)

Rebecca Hudson began her dance training at the Rage Box their opening year in 2004, and continued dancing there for 13 years before graduating in 2017. She has trained heavily in many styles of dance including ballet, jazz, modern, hip hop, contemporary, and tap. Rebecca has performed and competed with the Noise tap company, the Contemporary dance company, and the Boxed Fresh Crew hip hop company. All of the platinum awards, first place overalls, and judges’ awards from her many competition do not compare to the joy of dancing with her amazing teachers and teammates at the Rage Box. Rebecca has been trained by an inspiring group of artists, mainly including Karen Muccioli, Danielle Sten-Guillermo, Lance Guillermo, Samantha Cramer, and Nanette Arciaga. Rebecca is an aspiring choreographer and is excited to broaden her skills by teaching and choreographing at the Rage Box starting in January of 2018. She is currently attending Harford Community College and working towards receiving her A.A. degree in General Studies. Rebecca is very happy to be back teaching hip hop classes at Rage Box to continue to help her expand her love for dance and share it with others!
